Let your worries drift away as you float along the tranquil 700-foot Lazy River, meandering through lush landscaping. Relax and unwind as you glide through the soothing currents, or spend the day soaking up the sun at one of our seven pools.

Our lazy river provides a luxurious tropical escape with exclusive views of Choctawhatchee Bay.  Guests frequently enjoy wading and snorkeling in the Bay area.  

Bayside condos offer stunning views of the Pool Deck and Lazy River, which encircle the Waterfall Pool, two hot tubs, and the Zero Entry Pool. Access to the Lazy River is just a short walk across the bridge, providing easy entry to both the Pool Deck and Lazy River area.

The Lazy River, Pool Deck and Bay is available for all guests of Destin West. Whether you're staying on the Gulfside or Bayside, both sides of Destin West Resort, along with all amenities, are easily and safely accessible via the pedestrian bridge over Hwy 98.

Whether you're visiting with young children or just young at heart, the lazy river and zero-entry pool offer endless fun for all. The Zero Entry Pool provides easy access to the Lazy River, as the two areas are seamlessly connected.

The Lazy River at Destin West Beach and Bay Resort is a guest favorite and a one-of-a-kind feature in the area. Surrounded by palm trees, breathtaking views of the Bay, and the soothing sounds of birdsong, it offers your own personal serene tropical escape.

This is the perfect spot to watch the sunset over Choctawhatchee Bay, and as night falls, the river comes alive with vibrant lights in shades of turquoise, blue, purple, and green, creating a romantic atmosphere for evening floats.

The lazy river and pool decks are open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tubes are available for your convenience. To ensure only registered guests have access, please remember to wear your Destin West wristband when visiting the Pool Deck and Lazy River.
