Villa #508

Renting the Condo was an easy process and the staff were very helpful and friendly. But the condo itself needed some updates, especially the sofa bed. It was very uncomfortable and lumpy and the springs dug into our back . The linens were dingy and worn. The sink faucet was hard to turn off and on and the fridge made a terrible noise all the time.

Our stay last week was very nice however, there were several items which would of made it even better. They are regarding the unit we stayed in which was Villas #508.

1) It seemed obvious that no one had occupied this unit for some time, yet we were not let in until almost 6pm.
2) The balcony door would not open and until a maintenance person came the next day (which was Easter) and very strenuously jerked it open. It obviously had not been opened in quite a while.
3) There was air in the water pipes and sputtered when turned on and had to be run for a while to get rid of brown water. Preparation should include running the water in all of the fixtures.
4) The light over the sink had a broken cover and one of the bulbs were out. WE managed to get the other bulb working but the cover is totally broken and in need of replacement.
5) The kitchen faucet leaked on and off around the base which was annoying.
6) The bathroom sink plunger was unhooked and in operable. The maintenance man was able to re hook it and make it usable.
7) The wall clock, which was battery operated, did not work. The maintenance man had a battery and was able to reset it. The microwave clock was so dim it was not usable.
8) The balcony light did not work. Assumed it was a burned out bulb.
9) There are no grab bars or hand grips in the shower.
10) The refrigerator was very noisy at night. It vibrated very much and paper towels we stuffed on a piece inside I an attempt to stop it but this was futile.
11) The high pieces of furniture were very dusty on top.

As we said it was a very nice stay but we felt you should know these things to see that they get rectified.

Nice unit. The view in the morning is so beautiful! All the things needed for your stay. The glass sliding door doesn’t close without effort. This would not prevent me from returning.

Super cute villa, very clean and perfect for our stay. Would only recommend a couple blankets available as unit got cold at night with the AC and kids were cold on the pull out. Very cozy, good views. Would stay again!

Our vacation rental had a very beachy theme going on which I absolutely loved. You could watch the amazing sunrise every morning from the balcony. The kitchen/living room area was very comfy and just big enough. We did not use the kitchen as we ate out every meal but you could cook and eat there if you’d like. The bedroom was very nice. The bathroom was plenty big enough. It had a really nice soaker tub & shower (floor of shower could use a good bleaching). The sink was set in a nice size vanity. The place had just enough space. It is a little pricey during spring break but overall it was very nice. There is a light outside the door and it’s always lit up outside - making you feel safe even when it’s late.
