Once again, we enjoyed our stay at Destin West. Although the unit is a little dated, it met our needs for 3 adults and 3 kids (who LOVED the bunkroom). The kids also LOVE the lazy river, pools and hottubs.

The stat was amazing. Property was neat and had everything you needed. Several great restaurants within walking distance. The only complaint is the dish washer was broken and the pools were very cold until they turned the heaters on.

To start it off they texted my brother his room was ready and gave him our door code. He tried to explain they have him the wrong door code. We used the door code and entered our room. Room looked and smelled clean. Asked if it was ready and was told know maintenance still hadn’t been there. At this time my son was sitting outside door. Know one ever showed. After 1 1/2 I went back for them to say everyone was in “ and they were just getting ready to text me”. Rental manger was rude. Both my wife , my sister in-law and myself stop a worker to see if he was Maintenance and the individual just looked at us and didn’t speak, then walked away. Most of the staff are very rude. Except for the older gentleman that works the pool. He was great. We will be returning but not renting though Destin west management.

We have always enjoyed Destin West. We have been staying there during the month of February for 15 years.
We wish the owner would have the couches cleaned...over the years they have become quite soiled.

We absolutely loved our stay, from being able to just walk right down the to lazy river/pool to walking to the beach. Destin West will always be our go to when we come to Florida.

The condo was ok, wish we had booked on the gulf side, long walk to beach, the pool was amazing and the view of pool was nice, our condo needed a very good cleaning, the air filter to the air was filthy, but we were very cool, the carpets were dirty and the one in the queen bedroom was coming loose! But we did have a good time and that is what mattered

We spent a week in Sandpiper 302 and it was fantastic. The unit is spacious and comfortable so we were able to spread out. It also had an incredibly well equipped kitchen! We had a couple of minor issues (eg door lock to the unit was finicky) but no real complaints. The grounds and facilities were beautiful on the bay side. Would not hesitate to stay again.

The only downside of the entire experience was communicating with the management company. They were generally unhelpful when we needed to make a change to our stay and their systems seem archaic. You don't get the typical confirmations. In the end it turned out fine but we were worried.

The owners went above and beyond will absolutely go through them again. Condo was bigger then expected, very clean with no problems at all.

The condo was great for couple with daughter/son in law and infant! The bed was as good as mine at home and master was spacious. Owner was delightful. The lazy river and the view from master and balcony-perfect! Way more in kitchen than we needed except for dishpwdr and coffee filters. We did not know to bring and necessitated several extra trips to Publix. MGMT company was just short of surly when we requested these items.. No smoking signs everywhere but office would do nothing about guy next door smoking on balcony and smoke drift made our balcony unusable several times. They did respond with in reasonable time to a stopped up toilet. Still would go back again and pray for nonsmokers to surround us.
