Osprey #L03

This is 3rd time in Osprey L03 and 9th trip to Destin West. I can’t imagine staying in a different unit now!

We love Osprey L03! We have stayed in lots of units over the years but this one is our favorite! Plenty of room for everyone and great view!

Pros: The place is huge, 3 bed 3 bath and dining inside and out. Views of the bay are very nice with lots of windows. The owner was very attentive and communicated well (super nice guy).

Cons: *Not on owner, Destin west office did not send door code for entry until after we tracked them down before they left for the day (after 4pm). The door code also didn't work after the second day there so we got locked out for a minute. Maintenance did not have the hot tub cleaned up for us. Propane tank was not filled, luckily the neighbor allowed us to cook on their grill and the owner assisted with an additional tank as needed.

Overall good week, nice place, would recommend to larger parties coming in that like space. Check in early as possible, and double check the space is ready before 4pm so that if something is not ready you can address in a timely matter during the office hours.

Overall, we had a great time. My granddaughters always love their week in “the Condo”. We love Bayside. We did call the office for a maintenance issue with the ceiling fans on Sunday and didn’t get anyone to come and fix the problem? But overall had a great week and the weather was awesome.

We had a great time at Destin West. We had more than enough rom in the condo and the patio was exceptionally nice and roomy. The staff was a delight to work with and was very helpful. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We have been coming to Destin West for the last 6 years and have always enjoyed our stay.
We love the connivence of having the pontoon rental place right next door and the bay and lazy river right out of our back door.
Over all it was a great stay and we really enjoyed it.

Another great week of Family memories. We enjoyed our stay. However, the first few days the heated pools was freezing and most guests couldn’t swim. By mid week the complex finally turned the heaters on and the last 3 days was enjoyable. Thanks for an amazing week in our favorite condo.

When we walked into the room we were shocked at how big it was. It is a beautiful unit. The only thing we didn't like was the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms don't lock and the garage opener was no where to be found, not a big deal. The place was not as clean as I would like, the floors make your feet black, but the views and the size of the unit makes it all worth it. The owners are so nice too. We would definitly stay here again.

The music festival, Rock by the Sea, was a great success with Destin West being a huge contributor to that success! From the Lazy River to the stages at Rick's on the Island! FABULOUS!

My biggest complaint is the lack of things provided in the rental. We stayed a week and there were only 3 of us. There weren’t enough towels for us to use a bath towel and a swim towel—I called and they brought more. This rental is supposed to hold at least 6 people and there were only 3 towels. They didn’t have laundry detergent, extra trash bags, and dish soap or sponge. For a week rental in a condo, I know it’s not unreasonable to expect these things because I’ve stayed in hotels where they have these things provided. Or at least let you know they aren’t provided so you can bring things from home. The remotes in the living room need changing! It took me 10 minutes to change the channel to something I wanted to watch. I was also under the impression that we would have access to the garage and there would be a wagon with beach stuff in there but it turns out that’s only if the owner of the rental gives Destin West access to the garage. They sell it online as an amenity. One last complaint is the lack of trimming of trees that come over the railing on the property. They have blocked most of the water view and have made it annoying to walk down the stairs to the pool.
Other than that, the location was nice and the lazy river was fantastic. Cold. But fantastic. The beds and couches were comfy. We were able to make food and relax.

We always enjoy our time at Destin West Bayside. We love the lazy river, hot tubs, waterfall pool and zero entry pool. However, the rain tried hard this trip to ruin our fun BUT awe just worked around the storms and still made many more memories to add to the past 6 years of Destin West vacations.

This was our 3rd time staying at Destin West, but the first for this room. We loved the location and the size. It has everything you need to cook. They have extra items like fans, pack n play, high chair and some beach items. I wished the lanai had direct access to the pool area, but I would suggest putting in a keypad for the garage so you can leave through the garage and be able to get back in easily. We had an issue with a TV with no sound while we were there. All the TVs really need to be upgraded. We can't wait to return next year.
*The elevator for the crosswalk was not working while we were there and that was not fun, but not the owner of the room's fault.

Oh how my mom would have been in love. This unit is beautiful! You could hang out on the deck the entire time. The view is amazing. The unit itself was perfect! I could’ve stayed forever. The owner and staff were nice and helpful. We always love to eat at pier it’s so yummy! You just can’t beat this place!

Great location with lots of amenities with access to the Bay, the Beach, a Lazy River, multiple pools, hot tubs, and even a neighboring property, The Island. This condo is huge, beautiful inside with a great view of the Bay and the Lazy River. The spilt level patio is massive. You might want to bring extra bath towels, not enough are provided. The gas grille was very dirty inside with an empty propane tank. Overall a great place to stay.

Condo is awesome-large enough for 2 families. View of bay and pool is great. A little better cleaning-cigarette butts on deck and by hot tub. Overall a great place to stay!

We love our family time spent in Osprey L03. Our Granddaughters have the best time utilizing all the space and lanai. We spent most of our week in the Osprey heated pool. We always feel like we have the best time at Destin West resort. It’s always clean, well maintained and super family friendly. We will definitely be back in the Fall.
