GREAT TIME!

This was our first time at Rock by the Sea in Okaloosa, we played in St. George Island many times. The condo was very convenient and we apperciated Rock by the Sea hosting us!

Love Destin West Bayside!

Loved the units location with ocean and bayside views. Lost a lot of money on groceries because the freezer would not keep our popcycles frozen. Drinks in the fridge were only cool yet crisper drawer froze $20 worth of salads. Some patio furniture was nice but the older set needs replaced. Paint rubs flakes off on your skin and the small table is missing a leg. Shower rod completely rusted. Living room chair arms were worn and dirty. The unit itself is beautiful and clean but some things need replaced badly. Love the lazy river and the pools! Very clean and beautiful.

Great condo

The resort area is great, nice pool and common areas. The walk to the beach is fairly long so would keep that in mind if you have kids or older adults---will want a wagon, etc. The unit itself was great, nicely decorated and clean. Great views of the bay,pool area, and gulf (gulf views are over parking area and street) from the various balconies. Would definitely stay in this condo again when coming back to this area.

Great Vacation

Great location but the master bed is hard as a rock. Also hard to regulate temperature in the condo.

Almost Perfect.

The condo was very nice. It is a little dated, but it adds to it's charm. The actual condo was huge. The added balcony patio off one of the guest rooms was wonderful for early morning sunrise over the ocean. The other balcony faced the pool and bay and was enjoyable as well. The kitchen was fully stocked and had all you would need. The laundry again was a little dated, but usable. The only issue we really had was a very rusted and broken chase lounge chair on the balcony. I came very close to cutting myself trying to move it out of the way so no one would be injured by it. It would definitely have required a tetanus shot. I did tell management on our departure, so I'm sure they have taken care of it. The pool was wonderful. So clean and nice. The beach was quite a walk!! They have a very nice skybridge for you to use to cross the freeway, however it's every bit of 15 to 20 minutes to get there. If you plan to go, remember the heat and take water! We were exhausted by the time we got there. The ocean was wonderful and very little seaweed. The condo was very reasonably priced for the amount of space and we would definitely consider going again.

Enjoyable Stay!

Destin West proved to be an excellent location! We enjoyed the lazy river and views of both the bayside and the ocean! The condo was clean and inviting, and the staff helpful.
