Unique Penthouse condo with brilliant views of the Resort, Bay and Gulf of Mexico. Private double decker balcony overlooks the Lazy River and rooftop lounge with hot tub perfect for sunset and fireworks.

This three bedroom, two bathroom penthouse suite includes a wrap-around balcony to showcase panoramic views of Choctawhatchee Bay throughout the unit. The modern décor provides a warm touch to the well-lit vacation rental. A master en suite, two guestrooms, full kitchen, living room, and in-unit washer and dryer complete the condo.

The master en suite is decorated with a king-size bed, private panoramic balcony access, bayou views, dual vanity, garden tub, and large walk-in shower. All rooms are furnished with entertainment centers and personal storage. Guests enjoy free Wi-fi, beach and bay access as well as swimming pools, lazy river and spas on both sides of the resort.

The perfect end of day stay

Family Vacation 2023

We love staying at Destin West. Our children and our three grandsons joined us and we had a blast! The penthouse was spacious but could really use some updating with fresh paint and a grill for the top balcony area would be GREAT!! Overall, it was a great experience. Check-in and check-out was exceptional! We will definitely vacation at Destin West again!

ROCK BY THE SEA!!

Family of 4 vacation

This is our 2nd time coming to Destin West. We choose a penthouse with a hot tub for extra privacy and it's worth it. Destin West is a great location, we take the sky bridge over to the ocean side daily and are right by all the restaurants. My only complaint is that the lazy river is not heated and has been chilly end of March. A very family friendly resort and feel safe. We definitely will be back again!

Family fun in Destin/chairs included.

My family of 6 adults and 8 month old grandchild had a great time at Destin West in this PH unit. The hot tub roof top was great, the included beach chairs on the beach, the in room wagon and pack n play was great! In unit washer and dryer a bonus. The lazy river however freezing cold was a family hit and the outdoor grilling area by the pool was also utilized.

Very nice place. We very much enjoyed our stay. Very clean, large and we loved the hot tub. It was a cold week and it helped alot. The only issues we had: 1 sliding door would not stay locked... we used the security bar whenever we left. 2 ice maker either didn't work or wasn't turned on. 3 could not find usable oven mitts. Only the silicone matts and they were very difficult to use. Other than that we loved it.

Enjoyable Stay

Five adults and two children fit perfectly in this unit. The upper dishwasher rack needs to be repaired. There was a loose screw on the freezer door handle. It didn't ruin our trip at all. We had a blast! We have stayed on gulf side before and loved it, but this bayside room is more spacious. We walked across the footbridge to the beach daily and enjoyed the beach service. The water was great even in late Oct. Planning to stay again next year!

Hurricane Ida Stay

Everything was great despite the Hurricane weather but we managed to make the best of our time. Great location and views of the area. Penthouse was spacious and cozy. We would definitely return.

Almost Perfection

Our Fuds group loved the Condo. It fit our group better than most of the other condos because we enjoyed meals together and the large table allowed that. Also the fact that we had twin beds instead of bunk beds helped cause drunk adults don't do well getting in top bunks. Overall is was a successful trip our ONLY complaint was that the Roof Hot Tub wasn't working. It didn't stop me from booking the condo for the Fall Fuds though, just hoping the hot tub works by then.

Winter break

This was a great unit. Very nicely decorated. Beds comfortable and nice large TV's. Great view of bay and lazy river! Wish the hot tub on the roof had been working. Kitchen was not as well stocked as we are accustomed to, but we managed.
