Gulf #501

The condo is as pictured and had ample kitchen supplies (could use one more spatula and provide a dish sponge). Bunk beds are incredibly hard but the other beds are comfortable. Appreciate the beachside umbrella and chair service included in the rental. Didn’t like having to check in daily for the rental. That’s a first for us. It’s usually booked for the entire stay once you check in with them. But it was fine. The guys are fast at booking everyone in line. Location is great. Walking access to pier and restaurants. Pool was larger than it looks in photos which is great. We never did the lazy river sadly. Wanted to do that but couldn’t convince the family to hike over there. �� Someone stole our binoculars from the bench. Kids accidentally left it and when we went back they were gone and weren’t turned in.

What a perfect condo!

We walked in the front door and knew we were going to love it.

Our family of 6 takes up a lot of space, and this condo was ideal for all of us. Our 4-year-old twins shared the bunk beds and our teen and pre-teen alternated between the 2nd bedroom and the pull-out couch. The master bedroom was stunning with a walk out door to the balcony. Our view was incredible! We ate many of our meals on the huge balcony!

The kitchen was spotless and well stocked with cooking supplies and dishes.

The heated pools were perfect for March. The lazy river was freezing, but the kids still loved it. We spent most days at the beach (provided beach chairs and umbrella service was phenomenal) and then would warm up in the hot tubs.

Great restaurants in walking distance and fun entertainment at the Gulfarium.

I honestly have no complaints! We loved our stayed at 501!

The view was breathtaking. The room was clean and very nice. The bed slept comfortably. We seen dolphins and sharks swimming. We will def be back!

We had a very nice experience with this unit. It had a beautiful, ocean-front view and was in a good location. Except for the sofa and the sofa chair (both of which needed cleaning or replacement) the condo was very clean and comfortable.

This was our second time staying at Destin West Resort Gulfside. Our condo had the most amazing view! Very spacious and kitchen had everything we needed. Bathrooms were a little dated but that wasn't an issue. The beach service is always great. The young man is always accommodating and polite.

We loved the view from the condo. We loved the 2 chairs and umbrella set up everyday . It was so nice to have choice of various pools or the lazy river . The condo will always sell for the location and view but the condo inside needs some updates with bathrooms , kitchen and living room furniture like the couch and chair .

The condo was as described in the listing. You have a gorgeous view of the gulf from the balcony and the living area. The beds in the guestrooms were comfortable, the bunks not so much. The couch cushions were stained, but comfortable enough. The only problem we encountered were the neighbors. Apparently either college students or high schoolers who came home at 1am 3 nights during our stay and sang, yelled, and bounced a basketball on different nights. They refused to answer the door when I knocked as well.

The gulf-side pool was very large with a large sundeck, unfortunately the water was too cold to swim during our stay, the water in the small heated pool on the gulf side was very warm and comfortable.
The beach service was different than we had experienced before, rather than reserving your chairs for the entire week on Sunday, you had to stand in line at 9am each morning to reserve for the day if you wanted to get first row seating near the water.

We had a great time at Destin West! Loved our ocean front condo and daily beach service was included. Check in and out was super easy and quick! Close to a variety of food and entertainment. The heated pools are wonderful especially in the Spring. Lazy river was cold but still fun. We will be back for sure!!

Great Condo! This was our 14th stay at Destin West. However, I will never rent through the Property Managment again. Absolute horrible check-in process. Representatives not welcoming, friendly and frankly do not care about those coming to stay, and it shows.

We were in a condo on the gulfside, #501. It had a beautiful oceanfront view. When we weren’t in the ocean, we could still see it and hear the rolling waves from our balcony. The lazy river was enjoyable too. The condo was in a great location, close to a lot of restaurants and attractions. We especially enjoyed the Gulfarium. The kitchen in the condo was well stocked with all the cookware we needed the few times we ate in. Loved having the washer and dryer. I would definitely stay here again.
