Each room includes an entertainment center and there are two separate baths. Updated January 2025 with new furnishings including sleeper sofa.

Great place

Place was super clean and everything was perfect. Only thing I would possibly suggest is if owner would maybe add non perishable items such as salt and pepper and other spices.

Unit 104 Gulfside

The vacation was great & lots of memories were made. The unit needs some updates. I love unit 104 & stay there 2 times per year, but the sofa, which has been there quite a few years is heavily stained and ripped at the seams. The master bathroom wall between the shower & the bathtub needs to be repaired also. This last visit the tv in the master bedroom did not work and the cable provider came out on Tuesday to finally fix it after we had been there since Saturday.

Gulf 104 May 2024

I love Destin West with all the amenities and convenience of the restaurants and shops. This is my 4th stay in past few years. The condo itself could use a deep clean. Floor, counters, table, throw rugs needed cleaning before our arrival. The condo is dated. Needed some attention. The condo was musty not sure if the AC needed a new filter. Couch was terrible stained. Placed a sheet over to cover. Sliding door was a nightmare to open. Notified the from desk of the mustiness and door. Internet/cable was glitchy. My SIL stayed in another condo @ DWG under a different rental company and it was exceptional. overall great family vacation and definitely return in Oct. and will try another condo.

Great Vacation Spot

Destin West is a great vacation spot, we enjoyed the pool, quick walk to the beach and easy accessibility to restaurants.

Gulfside 104

We love the location of the condo, but the ice maker did not work, the master bathroom walls needed repair between the shower and the bathtub. The sofa needed cleaning or replacing as it was stained. The sliding glass needed repairs as it was very hard to open and close. We smelt pot being smoked throughout the day which is unacceptable when I had my grandkids! I’ve stayed here every year since you opened and never had this problem!

Great rental

Everything was super clean and very up to date and nice. Was a nice perk to get the complimentary umbrella and chairs on the beach.

Great Location

The location of this unit is perfect, pool right off of the patio and beach access steps away out the front door. We had a broken shower head in the smaller bathroom upon arrival, but it was fixed promptly. Close and walking distance to many restaurants, short drive to Destin, I would stay here again!

We'll be back!

Great location!The boardwalk to the beach was outside the front door and the pool was just outside the patio at the back door! Lots of restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance and a grocery store about a mile away. Despite the cool weather we could sit on the patio and enjoy the sunshine without the wind. It was great to be able to reserve chairs on the beach a couple days when we planned to relax. Hubby had trouble walking in the sand but could easily use the boardwalk to take in the views of the beach and ocean at sunrise and sunset! We'll definitely be back!

Yearly vacation at Destin West

We always enjoy staying at Destin West! We typically stay in a different condo but this year 104 was the only one available and of course we loved it too! I would say if I were to change anything it would be the chair rental situation. We get in line around 7:00 and have to wait 2 hours to get chairs. We just want to make sure we have a front row. Other than that no complaints here

The Retirement Dream bottom level pool and beach always calling

GREAT, We didn't want to come back home. We plan to stay a week next summer. We may stay a month during the fall, winter, or spring. We are at retirement age now and have been coming to Ft. Walton Beach since 1977. It was called Ramada Beach Resort then. We love it.

Winter Snowbirds

We had a great 3 months at Destin West. Our condo is very nice & equipped with everything we need. This was our 2nd year staying in this condo. The owners are great she was in contact with us & if we needed anything just ask. We will be staying there again next year. We love the location walking distance to restaurants & close to Destin.
