Osprey #601

We love Destin West!! We vacation there every year. We plan all year and the whole family comes. I wouldn't trade these adventures for anything. We booked 2 rooms this year because our family is growing, we had grand babies there this year. There is so much to do from the lazy river to fishing on the dock. See you again next year.

Grounds and pool were beautiful, view was amazing, the condo however, carpet in bedrooms were in serious need of cleaning, patio cushions had burn holes in them, and the kitchen barely as supplied with cooking utensils, and I have yet to receive my deposit back.

I have stayed at Destin West at least twice a year for over 15 years now. O603 has always been one of my favorite rooms and I keep coming back. However, some of the units including this one are in need of some TLC: new paint, curtains, air unit, carpet and even the dishwasher. The wear and tear are beginning to show heavily. Still love this place though! The pools, lazy river and location are awesome.

WE HAD A BLAST AT ROCK BY THE SEA! My family loved being able to jump right into the lazy river (don't forget your wristbands, they are very serious ab out them.

Resort is perfect for large groups with the pools, cookout area, close to several restaurants and activities and of course the beach. This is a nice, clean condo. Bright furnishings and a
beautiful view of the bay and sunrise. Could use more cooking supplies/bakeware would be the only suggestion. Would definitely book again!

Staff in office very friendly. Well kept property. Unit 601 Osprey for 2nd year stay. Nice unit but needs carpet replaced throughout unit and both mattresses in the two masters need replaced by owner. Otherwise nice comfortable unit. Plan on returning in 2025 to same unit.

This condo is beautiful, it was perfect for us! We visit to go to the charity event at Rick's on the Island, RIGHT NEXT DOOR! Everything was fabulous! We'll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay and Osprey 601. We were there for the month of February 2023. The property is very well maintained. The property is beautiful and we had great views of both the bay and the gulf. The unit itself was very spacious. The main master has a king size bed, and the mattress on it was not very good. It’s laying it off and you felt like you were falling out of bed but other than that the bedroom is really nice and a real spacious master bath. the second master had a queen bed in it and that mattress was pretty soft. So I recommended to the staff in the office that they contact the owners to let them know that maybe they might need to have new mattresses put on those beds before we return in February 2024. I also told the office that the cleaning crew needed to do a little bit better job of cleaning the floors and making sure that the one shower curtain was washed before they put it back on there for the next guest, but other than that, we really love the property, and have every intention of returning.

The vacation property was clean, decorated nicely, very spacious, and the view overlooking the bay & Okaloosa island was great. The two negatives were the fridge wouldn’t get cold enough even after the 24 hrs. wait as communicated, it was probably >50 degrees F. We resorted to using the freezer to keep food cold. The freezer temperature was more like a
working fridge’s temp. All in all the vacation was great and the family enjoyed the time spent at the pool & lazy river...

The other negative was the microwave quit heating during our stay. Overall the vacation stay was great and the family enjoyed...

I booked three condos--Heron 602, Osprey 601, and Heron 301. This was for a group of romance writers and we had 12 in these condos, and 3 who booked their own condos. The condos are gorgeous, and we loved our views. Osprey 601 complained about one zone being so cold and one zone being hot due to strange air conditioning. I heard no other complaints there. Heron 602 was great. Everything in working order. Heron 301 didn't file any complaints. All in all, I recommend any of these gorgeous places.

Nice, clean, spacious condo. Loved balcony over looking bay. All utilities worked well. Plenty of cook ware, linens, towels. Could walk over to beach or stay on condo side for three pools and lazy river. Condo was within walking distance of restaurants, shopping. Nice parking area under condo.
