Candy Cane Lane in Destin - Throughout the month of December, visit the most festive holiday display, a true winter wonderland that is “Candy Cane Lane” on Sea Oats Drive (1 block North of Hwy 98 - off Benning Drive). Destin residents volunteer to decorate and transform their homes into a whimsical winter wonderland. Candy Cane Lane adds so much joy to families every year with no cost to the public.
Visit Santa Claus - Many events along the Emerald Coast will have Santa and his helpers present throughout the season including all of the area parades listed below. In addition, check out the big guy and get your pictures with Santa at: Bass Pro Shop at the Destin Commons, Emerald Grande, HarborWalk Village & Sandestin Baytowne Wharf. *Check select times.
Fort Walton Beach Christmas Parade - December 5th 6:30 PM on Eglin Parkway, Fort Walton Beach (parade runs South to North). Destin Christmas Parade - December 10th 10 AM on Harbor Boulevard (Pepitos to Whataburger, parade runs East to West). This family parade is always a treat with this year’s theme “Elf on the Shelf’ it will sure to be a hit! Northgate Luminaries Exhibit - Fort Walton Beach neighborhood democrats annually for festive community excitement! Not to be missed, the famous Luminary shows will be December 10-11th 6 - 9 PM. The public is welcome to come and enjoy the wonderful neighborhood lights!
Destin Boat Parade - December 11th 6 PM Destin Harbor. Area boat charters decorate and light their vessels annually for this beautiful waterfront event!
